Current Information:Age-25 42, Wrexham Road, Bow Boulogne Eastern Cemetery, France 17th London (Poplar & Stepney Rifles) arrived in France in March 1915 as part of 141 Brigade, 47th Division. On 13th May, 1915 they moved into the front line at Pont Fixe, Givenchy in northern France. Rifleman Pawsey died of wounds on this day but as yet there is no further information regarding his death. He was buried at Boulogne so we can presume that he was wounded at an earlier date.
